Area Sales Engineer

• Work closely with internal BDM and General Management teams to deliver revenue, margin and market-share targets

• Take ownership of key accounts throughout the project lifecycle

• Bring customer and market intelligence back into the business to help shape future product development

• Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars and customer events

• Spend around 80% of your time in front of customers, with the autonomy to manage your own territory and relationships

What are we looking for?

You’ll ideally have 5+ years’ technical sales experience within engineering, oil & gas or another closely related industry, with a proven track record of negotiating and closing sales.

You’ll be commercially minded, confident dealing with everyone from operational contacts through to board level, and comfortable having conversations that influence both technical specifications and purchasing decisions.

An Engineering Degree is preferred, but relevant technical and commercial experience will be considered.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who:

• Builds genuine, long-term customer relationships

• Is proactive and comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them

• Can influence and negotiate with technical and commercial stakeholders

• Takes ownership and sees projects through to completion

• Has the drive to grow both existing accounts and new markets

What’s on offer?

£50,000-£80,000 depending on experience + £6,500 car allowance
