Terms of use
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses A New Job (www.anewjob.co.uk). By using the site you agree to them. Employers also agree to our employer terms when they register. How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
Who we are
You can contact us at davidjenkinswave@gmail.com.
What we do
- A New Job is a job board. We publish jobs posted by employers and help people apply for them. It is free for job seekers.
- We are not an employer or a recruitment agency, and we are not part of any job offer or employment contract. Each employer is responsible for its job adverts, its recruitment decisions and how it treats applicants.
- We check employers before they can post, but we cannot guarantee that every advert is accurate, that a job is still available, or that you will hear back from an employer.
- Some jobs come from jobstrackr.com. Applying for those takes you to jobstrackr.com, whose own terms apply there.
- No genuine employer on A New Job will ask you to pay to apply for a job. If anyone does, please don’t pay, and tell us.
Accounts
- You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so keep your email account secure. Don’t share sign-in links.
- Give accurate details, and only apply or register using your own details or ones you are authorised to use.
- Each email address can be used for one kind of account: job seeker or employer.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
What you must not do
- post or upload anything false, misleading, unlawful or offensive;
- upload files containing viruses or anything else harmful;
- copy jobs or other content from the site in bulk, or use automated tools to collect it, except search engines indexing public pages;
- use anyone’s details from the site to send spam or for anything other than the recruitment purpose they were shared for;
- try to get around our security checks, access other people’s accounts or data, or disrupt the site.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
What you share with us
When you upload a CV or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it. You let us store it, show it to the employers you choose (by applying, or by joining the CV database) and process it as needed to run the site, as described in our privacy policy. It remains yours.
Our content
The site’s design, text and software belong to us or our licensors. Job adverts belong to the employers who posted them. You may view and share individual job pages for your own job search.
Availability and liability
- We work to keep the site running and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
- We are not responsible for employers’ adverts, decisions or conduct, or for websites we link to.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, or affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or on the site before it applies.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
