Want to work with electronics where precision actually matters?
We’re looking for an Assembly Technician to join a specialist engineering & manufacturing team working with high-value electronic, optical and semiconductor technology.
It’s precision assembly, delicate components and complex systems where quality, accuracy and traceability are critical.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You’ll be hands-on, building complex electronic and detector systems to exacting standards.
Your day will include:
- Precision assembly to detailed Work Instructions
- Handling delicate, high-value electronic components
- Working with BOMs, travellers & controlled documentation
- Following ESD & contamination-control procedures
- Recording build activity through an ERP system
- Working closely with Warehouse to ensure components are correctly kitted
- Identifying and reporting issues or deviations
- Supporting technical queries and production improvements
- Helping develop and improve Work Instructions
- Keeping the assembly environment clean, organised & production-ready
