You will be supporting pupils in Ipswich and the surrounding areas, delivering high‑quality learning experiences in Computer Science across Key Stages.Duties as Computer Science Teacher:
- Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons following provided plans
- Teach a range of topics including programming, algorithms, data representation, systems architecture, and digital literacy
- Support students in developing computational thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Adapt teaching strategies to support learners of varying abilities
- Contribute to departmental planning during longer‑term placements
Ideal Computer Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and related areas
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners across a range of year groups
