You’ll be supporting children in nursery and reception classes, helping to create nurturing and stimulating environments that promote early development and learning.Duties as Early Years Practitioner:
- Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging EYFS curriculum content
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Provide feedback on children’s progress and contribute to observations
- Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times
Ideal Early Years Practitioner:
- Relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education)
- Experience working with children aged 0–5 in nursery or school settings
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
