Electrician

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off – 12-hour shifts

Qualifications: Level 3 Electrical Qualification, 2391 and 18th Edition

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join our facilities management team at a prestigious site in Weybridge, Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician to work at Mercedes-Benz World, carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs within a high-profile commercial environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems and equipment remain safe, compliant and fully operational, helping to maintain a high standard of service across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.

Respond to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.

Undertake electrical testing, inspection and remedial works as required.

Ensure all electrical installations and works comply with current regulations and health and safety standards.

Complete maintenance records, reports and relevant compliance documentation accurately.

Identify potential issues and recommend preventative measures to minimise equipment downtime.

Work collaboratively with the wider facilities management team to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Maintain a safe, clean and professional working environment at all times.

Requirements

A recognised Level 3 Electrical Qualification.

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.

Previous experience in commercial facilities management or a similar maintenance environment would be advantageous.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

A good understanding of electrical safety, compliance and current regulations.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Pattern

4 days on, 4 days off.

12-hour shifts.
