The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Employment Advisor to support young people aged 18-24 into employment through a government-funded employability programme. This rewarding role involves providing tailored employment support, helping individuals overcome barriers to work, and guiding them towards sustainable employment opportunities. Working with a range of stakeholders including employers, training providers and referral partners, you will deliver high-quality support that improves outcomes for participants and helps them build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workplace. The role involves:
- Delivering one-to-one and group employability support, including assessments, inductions and employability workshops.
- Supporting individuals to overcome barriers to employment, education and training through personalised action plans.
- Assisting customers with CV writing, job applications, interview preparation and job search activities.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with employers, referral partners, training providers and external agencies.
