Position: Freight Sales Director
Location: Southampton
Salary: to £80,000 + Car Allowance + Uncapped Commission (Negotiable)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 17:00pm
25 Days Holiday + Bank holidays
A well-established international freight forwarding and logistics business is looking to appoint a commercially driven Commercial Sales Director to play a key role in its continued growth.
The opportunity would suit either an ambitious, successful Business Development Manager looking to take the next step into a Sales Director position, or an established Sales Director seeking a new challenge within the freight forwarding sector.
The Opportunity
This is a predominantly sales-focused role, centred around identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing key customer relationships and driving profitable commercial growth.
Working as part of an established UK sales function, the successful individual will have the autonomy to manage their own pipeline, sales activity and customer relationships, while collaborating with colleagues across the wider business.
The position carries no direct reports or day-to-day team management responsibilities. Instead, the focus is firmly on individual sales performance, market development and the ability to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.
