Industrial Cleaner - ST4 Area

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Cleaner to join a busy manufacturing site in the ST4 area. The successful candidate must have previous cleaning experience within a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse or factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, toilets, canteens and communal areas
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the manufacturing site
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and wiping down surfaces
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
• Using magnets to collect metal offcuts safely from production areas
• Following site health and safety procedures
• Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies
• Working safely around machinery, employees and production activities
• Reporting hazards, spillages or maintenance issues

Requirements

• Previous industrial or manufacturing cleaning experience is essential
• Experience working in a busy environment
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and COSHH procedures
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual cleaning duties
• Able to follow instructions and comply with health and safety requirements

Hours and Pay

• Daytime hours
• Location: ST4 area
• Pay depends on experience but will be no less than the applicable National Minimum Wage
• Immediate start may be available
