KS1 Teacher – Full-time, day-to-day supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for KS1 teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be supporting pupils in Year 1 and Year 2 across a range of schools in Harpenden and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging lessons and helping children build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social development.Duties as KS1 Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality teaching to KS1 pupils across various schools
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learners
- Support children’s academic and emotional development
- Collaborate with support staff and senior leaders to ensure effective provision
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide feedback and contribute to pupil progress reviews
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching KS1 in mainstream primary settings
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics programmes
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Flexible, reliable, and confident working across different schools
