Pay Rate: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per year

Job Type: 12 Week Temp to Perm

Shift Pattern:

Days: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm Nights: Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm - 3:00am, Thursday 4:30pm - 2:00am

Our client is a well-established metal manufacturing company based in Telford. Day Shifts and Night Shifts available.

Key Responsibilities – Quality Inspector

• Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
• Inspecting components and products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Using measuring equipment including verniers, calipers and other inspection tools.
• Recording inspection data and completing quality documentation accurately.
• Identifying non-conformances and reporting quality issues.
• Working closely with production teams to maintain quality standards throughout manufacture.

Essential Requirements – Quality Inspector

• Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector within a metal manufacturing environment.
• Experience carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Desirable Experience – Quality Inspector

• Experience working within sheet metal or fabrication environments.
• Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
• Experience completing inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and metal components.
