Joint SEND Development Manager needed in Bedford

This is a temporary contract and the rate is £511.53 per day PAYE

The successful candidate will provide dedicated leadership for the delivery of a High Needs Deficit Recovery Plan, ensuring recovery actions are implemented effectively and progress is closely monitored. They will coordinate a range of interconnected workstreams aimed at reducing expenditure, improving forecasting, strengthening commissioning arrangements and delivering value for money across high needs provision.

Working with senior stakeholders, they will develop and maintain action plans, risk logs, savings trackers and performance reports, holding action owners accountable for delivery and ensuring robust governance arrangements are in place. The role requires strong financial awareness, strategic planning, commissioning expertise and the ability to drive complex improvement programmes, while preparing long-term sustainable arrangements and supporting the achievement of challenging recovery and savings targets.
