An established Microsoft-focused software business is looking for a Lead Business Central Engineer to join its growing product development team. This is an opportunity for an experienced BC professional who enjoys staying hands-on while also influencing technical strategy, driving innovation, and supporting a team of talented developers.
Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in the ongoing development of a market-leading Business Central solution, helping to define best practices, improve delivery standards, and explore the use of AI-driven development approaches.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as a senior technical authority across the Business Central development function
- Building and enhancing complex AL extensions and custom solutions
- Driving architecture decisions and platform improvements
- Supporting integrations with external applications and Microsoft technologies
- Coaching developers and promoting engineering excellence
- Improving testing, deployment processes, and development workflows
- Leveraging AI tools and automation to increase development efficiency
