Learning Support Assistant – Daily supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for Learning Support Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across further and higher education settings in Norwich and the surrounding areas.Duties as Learning Support Assistant:
- Support students with a range of learning needs in classroom and independent study environments
- Work closely with lecturers and support teams to implement individual learning plans
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students access course content
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Assist with mobility, communication, and personal care where required
- Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Ideal Learning Support Assistant:
- Experience supporting learners with SEND or additional needs in educational settings
- Confident working with young adults and adapting to different subject areas
- Patient, empathetic and adaptable to changing needs as a Learning Support Assistant
- Able to follow safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
- Willing to commit to daily supply work across multiple colleges and universities
